Toni on a prefish bass. The urban lake is surprisingly good for lots of bass.
The lovely Serina on this tournament outing with Glen. Lots of big panfish and mayan cichlids were caught.
Dylan used a strange creature like lure to nail nice bass in abundance.
Dylan's cat catchin' goo but the cats didn't care for it.
Dave & Brian unloading at Ray's ramp on second day!
Ray's Canoe & Kayak Hideaway is a serene piece of ol' Florida. The Manatee River is nicknamed the "singing" river according to an old indian legend.
Toni nabbed the biggest cat for the tournament. A 6 pounder. There are 20 lb. plus felines reported in that river.
Mojarra are a bait fish commonly found inshore and on the beaches in large schools. They are called many names - goat, goatfish, sand brim, sand perch, silverbelly and silverbiddy. Because they travel in large schools, they are easy to catch with a cast net or seine net from the beach. This species is unregulated. According to Dave and Toni they are real good eatin'.
Isaac's bluegill catch. The river can hold some big coppernose males in numbers. Glen's suggestion is to move around with a nightcrawler or cricket under a bobber along downed branches along the river edge or little tucked away bayous.
Dave capped off a productive day for the last tournament of the regular season!
